Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce is a Latvian playwright and author whose original plays, dramatizations, and librettos have been staged in the largest state and independent theatres in Latvia, as well as internationally.

She has also written scripts for films, television series, radio productions, concerts, and large-scale performances, and is the author of several books.

Since 2015, Rasa has been the resident playwright at Liepāja Theatre. Since 2011, she has taught the fundamentals of playwriting at RTU Liepāja Academy.

Rasa has participated in, organized, and taught at numerous local and international playwriting workshops, competitions, and staged readings.
